We chose to formulate the Theme as a question: How Can A Think Tank for Arab Youth Operate on the Cloud ? We chose not to precisely define the term Think Tank to allow the participants more freedom in choosing in what specific way their products operates as a "Think Tank on the Cloud".ARE THERE ANY CONDITIONS ON THE OWNERSHIP OF MY HACK ?
We require that all submissions should be for the benefit of the larger community, and thus should be submitted to GitHub under an MIT License, such that anyone could use part of or the whole project freely afterwards.WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Your student or government ID, laptop, phone, chargers, any sleeping equipment you might want, and lots of excitement.HOW DO TEAMS WORK?
Teams are at most 4 people. You can select teammates when you register, or you can register individually without specified teammates. We’ll run the selection by teams, so rest assured you’ll be able to hack with your friends if that’s what you prefer!
The teams we form will preferably be formed of a designer, two developers and an activist/area expert.DOES IT COST MONEY?
Admission is free and includes meals, drinks, snacks, overnight hosting, goodies, and the satisfaction of contributing to a change in the region.
We will not be paying for transport to and from Harvard College.WHAT ABOUT HARDWARE HACKS?
